It's that time of year again...!! 

What: Yukon Women in Music AGM 
When: Friday, September 27th, 
Social time: 5:30pm (Complimentary appies!) 
Business meeting: 6pm 
Where: Westmark, 201 Wood Street - Bennett Post Room 

This is the meeting where we'll share all about what YWIM's been up to over the past year, and encourage you to become even more involved! 
As an organization, we're as strong as our membership is strong and active...and it's been a great year! Some stuff we've done this year: Cook Shack Sessions, mentorships, musical collaborations, JamFest... 
Several people are stepping down from the executive to make room for some new folks! We're looking to fill the following positions this year: 
President 
Vice-president 
Secretary 
Treasurer 

In addition to these positions, we have committee leads who'd love to have members join them to move various projects forward over the year: 
Grant writing 
Mentorship development 
Membership and Volunteer engagement 
Event planning

Our AGM will be held tomorrow evening @ 5:30 at the Westmark Whitehorse...in the Bennett Post Room.  Come early to socialize, or stay late!  

Join us for a recap of the past amazingly busy year, election of new board, a planning session for 17/18, and a draw for a free mentorship session!

We are holding out Annual General Meeting Friday, September 30th at 5:30 at the Westmark. We have had the same 5 core members for three years, though this year, we are losing Candice Scott, our bookkeeper and Treasurer, who is moving on to other things. Thank you Candice for all that you have done for YWIM. 

This year, we are looking for 3 new board members. If you would like to be involved with the board, please join us or let us know beforehand. We need some new energy and ideas to carry us through the next few years. The commitment would be no more than a meeting a month, and committee meetings for our events. Your help means we can continue to offer the same great services and performance opportunities to the women, and young women of the Yukon.
